The modern church has a problem. It cannot recognize abuse vey well if at all. It even perpetuates it. To begin to slowly recognize character patterns in abusers, we look at three passages of scripture in the Old and New Testaments. They show us healthy submission so that we can see unhealthy submission, or lack of it, with more clarity.
